Joan M. Wilbon

Joan M. Wilbon is a native of Washington, D.C. She started her law firm in 1981 and has been serving clients in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Pennsylvania for over 40 years.

After graduating from New York University, and the George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, D.C., Ms. Wilbon began her legal career in the Office of the General Counsel, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC); thereafter worked as an attorney at the National Bar Association; and as a Trial Attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Department of Justice.

Ms. Wilbon has a long standing commitment to serving her client’s legal needs and she strives for excellence in all legal matters. Ms Wilbon has devoted a significant amount of her time to D.C. Bar activities such as support to the Council for Court Excellence; serving as a Hearing Examiner with the Board of Professional Responsibility, and as a Trustee with the D.C. Bar Client Security Fund.

Ms. Wilbon is the proud mother of two daughters.
